Any attempts to talk me out of covering this song are futile. - Kyle
Well, at least wait until we get a woman in our music circle to sing for us, because YOU’RE NOT SINGING. I believe I’ve made myself clear. - John

Let the records show that Mr. Guaderrama’s vote is firm for “Stickshifts & Safety Belts.”
I have recently stumbled upon Cake again. What better cover to do than No Phone, Distance, or Stick shifts and saftey belts. Chromeo’s Night by Night would be an excellent 80ish cover to do as well. Finally, a mashup, perhaps using Lil wayne up against a more subdued indie back track could work.
As far as the songs go, the national song and the be your own bet are do-able, but i dont know how we would be able to pull of some of the others. They require some noises and syths that we may or may not have. For those it all really depends on what John and Kyle have on their keyboards, or as a matter of fact, what sounds i have on my keyboard.
